About Us

ANIKETANA GNMSS is a secular, non-profit organization committed to empowering communities across Karnataka. With a team of dedicated professionals, we operate in ten districts, focusing on Agriculture and Skill Development.
In agriculture, we support sustainable farming, promote Farmer Producer Companies, and work on initiatives like kitchen herbal gardens, livestock management, and rainwater harvesting. We also help form community groups like Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer Clubs.
As a recognized Training Partner of the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation, we provide skill training to SHG members and youth, fostering self-reliance and economic growth. ANIKETANA is dedicated to creating sustainable prosperity within local communities.

Mission

ANIKETANA GNMSS strives to improve the living standards of rural families, especially, the farming communities, poor and weaker sections with focus on natural resource management. This will be achieved by reviving faith in farming with the introduction of appropriate and environment friendly technologies aimed at long term sustainability with emphasis on community participation and empowerment.

Promotion of Farmer Producer Company

Aniketana GNMSS is implementing the Flagship Programme of Govt of India and Govt of Karnataka that is Promotion Of Amruth Farmer Producer Companies with the financial support from Watershed Development Department, Government of Karnataka.

World Bank Assisted Reward Water Shed Development Project

Aniketana GNMSS is working in Vijayapura District Honnutagi and Surrounding Villages as an FNGO for REWARD ( Rejuvenating Watersheds For Agricultural Resilience through Innovative
Development)

Skill Development

We are recognized as a Training Provider by the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation. We offer training in Self-Employed Tailoring Courses for Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Rural Youths in Kadur, Chikkamagalur District. We plan to extend our courses to other districts in the future.

Raithabazar (A Farmer Venture)

With the experience gained in promoting and supporting Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), the ANIKETANA team has created a marketing facility for these producers.

Uluvavanalli Udyamashilathe (Farmer Entrepreneurship Development Program) and Self Help Group Handson Training and EDP Programmes

This program is conducted to mobilize and create Entrepreneur behavior.

Development Approach:

Facilitate active participation of rural communities, organize them into groups, and identify youth committed to rural development for capacity building and sustainable initiatives.

Assess local needs and problems, prioritize them, and develop plans and solutions using participatory methods (PRA) based on local resources.

Provide training and capacity building programs for community-based organizations (CBOs) to manage development projects effectively.

Promote sustainable and environment-friendly practices in agriculture, natural farming, and conservation of resources like land, water, and livestock with community involvement.
