Working with Organic Committees.

Location: Ramanagara and Bangalore Rural District

We work with 5 Organic Committees, which are farmer-led bodies established to promote and support organic farming practices in selected villages. The committees empower farmers by providing resources, training, and guidance on transitioning to or enhancing organic farming practices. They also create awareness about the benefits of organic farming and facilitate access to organic markets.

Promoting Farmers Producer Companies (FPOs).

Namdu Farmer Producer Company Limited in Chamarajanagara District and SHIVOAM ORGANIC FARMER PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED, Ramanagara District

We have promoted 2 Farmers Producer Companies (FPOs) in these districts. An Organic Farmers Producer Company is a collective organization formed by farmers engaged in organic farming. The primary aim of such a company is to empower farmers, enhance their income, and promote organic agricultural practices. This collaborative approach helps organic farmers improve their livelihoods and strengthen their market presence. and “Weekly Organic Santhe Initiative in Chamarajanagara”
We are pleased to announce the launch of our weekly Organic Santhe initiative in Chamarajanagara, by namdu FPCL providing a platform for local farmers to showcase and sell their organic produce.
