EMPOWERING RURAL COMMUNITIES

About Us

ANIKETANA GNMSS is a secular, non-profit organization committed to empowering communities across Karnataka. With a team of dedicated professionals, we operate in ten districts, focusing on Agriculture and Skill Development.
In agriculture, we support sustainable farming, promote Farmer Producer Companies, and work on initiatives like kitchen herbal gardens, livestock management, and rainwater harvesting. We also help form community groups like Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer Clubs.
As a recognized Training Partner of the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation, we provide skill training to SHG members and youth, fostering self-reliance and economic growth. ANIKETANA is dedicated to creating sustainable prosperity within local communities.

We envision empowering rural communities through agricultural excellence and long-term sustainability, promoting participation and empowerment.

Mission

ANIKETANA GNMSS strives to improve the living standards of rural families, especially, the farming communities, poor and weaker sections with focus on natural resource management. This will be achieved by reviving faith in farming with the introduction of appropriate and environment friendly technologies aimed at long term sustainability with emphasis on community participation and empowerment.

Our Programs

Promotion of Farmer Producer Company

As an implementing partner, ANIKETANA GNMSS is facilitating the Promotion and development of Amruth Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) under the flagship initiative of the Government of Karnataka, funded by the Watershed Development Department.

World Bank Assisted REWARD Project

ANIKETANA GNMSS is serving as a Field NGO (FNGO) under the World Bank-assisted REWARD Project in Honnutagi and surrounding villages of Vijayapura District, promoting sustainable watershed development, community empowerment, and improved livelihoods.

Skill Development & Livelihood Enhancement

ANIKETANA GNMSS is a recognized Training Provider under KSDC and LSC, empowering youth, women, and workers through skill development programmes in tailoring, logistics, and construction sectors promoting employability, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

Raithabazar (A Farmer Venture)

ANIKETANA GNMSS has established the Raitha Bazaar initiative in the heart of Bengaluru to provide Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) with a dedicated platform for marketing their agricultural produce and value-added products directly to consumers.

Entrepreneurship Development for Farmer & SHG

Empowering young farmers and Self-Help Groups through entrepreneurship development, sustainable farming practices, and value addition initiatives. Building rural enterprises and strengthening farmer-led institutions for sustainable livelihoods.

Promoting Organic Farming for a Sustainable Future

At ANIKETANA, we believe in the power of organic farming to create a healthier, more sustainable world. Supporting organic farmer groups, Farmer Producer Companies, and community-led initiatives to build sustainable livelihoods and resilient farming communities.

Development Approach:

Facilitate active participation of rural communities, organize them into groups, and identify youth committed to rural development for capacity building and sustainable initiatives.

Assess local needs and problems, prioritize them, and develop plans and solutions using participatory methods (PRA) based on local resources.

Provide training and capacity building programs for community-based organizations (CBOs) to manage development projects effectively.

Promote sustainable and environment-friendly practices in agriculture, natural farming, and conservation of resources like land, water, and livestock with community involvement.
