ANIKETANA GNMSS is committed to enhancing employability, entrepreneurship, and livelihood opportunities through quality skill development initiatives for rural youth, women, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and workers across India.
We are a recognized Training Provider under the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC). Under this initiative, we provide Self-Employed Tailoring Courses for members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and rural youth in Kadur Taluk of Chikkamagaluru District, enabling participants to develop income-generating skills and pursue self-employment opportunities. Building on the success of this programme, ANIKETANA GNMSS plans to expand these training initiatives to other districts in the coming years.
ANIKETANA GNMSS is also recognized as a Training Provider by the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC). Under this partnership, we implemented Short-Term Skill Training and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programmes in the logistics sector for:
These programmes were implemented during the period from 1 April 2022 to 31 July 2024, contributing significantly to workforce development and skill certification in the logistics sector.
ANIKETANA GNMSS successfully implemented the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Bridge Course Training Programme for registered construction workers under the Karnataka Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (KBOCWWB). The programme was designed to acknowledge the valuable skills and experience workers had gained through years of practical work and provide them with opportunities for formal skill recognition, certification and further technical development.
The programme combined skill assessment, RPL certification and bridge training to help workers strengthen their existing competencies and acquire additional technical knowledge relevant to their occupations. Participants were also oriented on work-related practices, financial inclusion, digital and cashless transactions, helping them build greater awareness beyond technical skills. Training kits were distributed to facilitate learning and provide participants with essential materials to support their training and skill enhancement.
The initiative successfully covered 10,000 registered construction workers across three major locations in Karnataka:

Through this initiative, construction workers received an opportunity to validate and formally certify their existing skills, while bridge training helped strengthen their technical capabilities. The programme contributed to improved skill recognition, employability and livelihood prospects, while supporting workers in becoming better equipped for evolving opportunities within the construction sector. The initiative strengthened workers’ skills, enabled formal recognition of their experience, and opened pathways towards improved employability and livelihood opportunities.
