ANIKETANA GNMSS implements Uluvavanalli Udyamashilathe (Farmer Entrepreneurship Development Programme) to nurture entrepreneurial skills among young farmers and members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and to promote sustainable livelihood opportunities in rural communities.
The programme aims to mobilize and motivate young farmers to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset by creating awareness on sustainable agricultural practices, agribusiness opportunities, and value addition to agricultural produce. Through capacity building, training, mentoring, and handholding support, participants are encouraged to transform from primary producers into successful rural entrepreneurs.
Special emphasis is given to enterprise development in areas such as value addition, food processing, agribusiness management, market linkages, branding, packaging, and business planning. The programme also facilitates access to government schemes, institutional finance, and market opportunities to support the growth of rural enterprises.
