World Bank Assisted Reward Water Shed Development Project

About Our World Bank Assisted Reward Water Shed Development Project

Aniketana GNMSS is actively working in Vijayapura District, specifically in Honnutagi and surrounding villages, as a Facilitating Non-Governmental Organization (FNGO) for the REWARD (Rejuvenating Watersheds For Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development) program. This initiative is supported by the World Bank and the Watershed Development Department of the Government of Karnataka (GoK).

As part of this program, Aniketana GNMSS creates awareness about ESSA (Environmental and Social Safeguard Assessment) and helps integrate ESSA into all project interventions. The organization provides essential training and community management services at the grassroots level in villages.

Our Key Activities Include

Conducting social mobilization, building rapport, generating awareness, and forming village-level Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Gram Panchayat (GP) level project committees
